“Water for Elephants” author speaks Sept 27 at Belk Library fundraiser

BOONE—Sara Gruen, author of the best-selling novel “Water for Elephants” will be the guest speaker Sept. 27 at the annual Carol Grotnes Belk Library Advisory Board fundraising dinner.
Gruen will talk about the writing and research that went into “Water for Elephants” and will briefly discuss her forthcoming novel “Ape House” scheduled for release this fall.
