Study abroad trip to explore the history and power of South African music

BOONE—The history of South Africa is perhaps best told through its music.

Appalachian recognized for the number of its graduates entering the Peace Corps

BOONE—Appalachian State University is included in the Peace Corps’ 2009 list of top colleges and universities in terms of the number of Appalachian graduates signing up as Peace Corps volunteers in 2008.
