Howell named regional director of Epsilon Pi Tau international honor society

Annual chair design competition held April 30

Archibald named president of Appalachian’s Alumni Council

BOONE—Jim Archibald of Wilkesboro has been inducted as president of Appalachian State University’s Alumni Council for 2009-10.
Archibald graduated from Appalachian in 1986 with a B.S.B.A. degree in marketing and management.

BOONE—Cadets from Appalachian State University competed in the 2nd Annual Mountain Man March held in Gatlinburg, Tenn., and earned top honors.

Student fundraisers benefit Appalachian’s Communication Disorders Clinic

BOONE—Members of the Greek Community and Delta Zeta Sorority at Appalachian State University have contributed more than $14,000 to the Charles E. and Geneva S. Scott Scottish Rite Communication Disorders Clinic located in University Hall.
The donation will be used to purchase playground equipment for the clinic’s Preschool Language and Communication Classroom.
