Appalachian hosts journalism workshop for high school students

BOONE—Appalachian State University will host the Northwest North Carolina Scholastic Journalism Day on Sept. 27.
The one-day workshop for high school newspaper and yearbook staff members and their advisors will be held at Plemmons Student Union and Belk Library and Information Commons. Sessions begin at 9 a.m.
