Appalachian to test siren warning system monthly beginning July 1

BOONE—Appalachian State University will begin monthly tests of its siren warning system July 1.
The monthly tests, recommended by the system’s manufacturer, will be held at 11:55 a.m. on the first Wednesday of each month.
