BOONE—Split Rail Records, the student-run record label at Appalachian State University, will host a CD release show for the band Major Magick Oct. 29 at Legends. Doors open at 9 p.m. Tickets are $6 in advance at the information desk in Plemmons Student Union and are at $8 at the door.
