BOONE—Appalachian State University’s enrollment guide for newly accepted freshmen and transfer students called First Connections was a Grand Award winner at the 2008 District III meeting of CASE, the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education.The guide was recognized in CASE’s student recruitment-printed publications category for its content, design and overall effectiveness.
