Furniture Foundation gift funds scholarships in Appalachian’s Department of Technology

BOONE–The Furniture Foundation has awarded $24,000 to Appalachian State University to fund eight $3,000 scholarships in the Department of Technology.
The scholarships will be awarded for the 2009-10 academic year to students pursuing a bachelor of science degree in industrial design-furniture design with a minor in marketing.
