Snow day fun Appalachian style

Students at Appalachian State University had a short reprieve from classes Thursday when three to five inches of snow fell in the area. Early morning classes were cancelled, giving these students a chance to sled next to I.G. Greer Hall and build an 11-foot-tall snowman on Sanford Mall. (Photos by Troy Tuttle)
